This one’s for the night owls, the sesh gremlins, the dance-mad dawn chasers. It’s underground, you’re underdressed, and everybody understands there’s no going home early.
Local legends House of Mince and Sultry Group are collaborating on a club night for the ages (the over 18 ages anyway). We’ve given these pillars of the Sydney after-dark scene the keys to The Cutaway – our grand cavern beneath Barangaroo Reserve.
The night will start with big grooves from the live band and DJ improvisation sessions that put Sultry Group on the map, creating space for artists to connect, experiment and take the music somewhere unexpected. Then House of Mince takes over to bring the dance floor to a ferocious close. Drawing on 15 years of championing Sydney’s queer nightlife, expect the city’s finest underground selectors, familiar Mince faces and surprise performances.
Together, it’s a genre-crossing, scene-uniting celebration of the music and people that keep Sydney dancing.
